Hand Dynamometer (Isometric Grip Force) Test

A “Hand Dynamometer” is an evaluation tool that's used to measure hand grip strength (Medically known as “Isometric Grip Force”). At Causality Care, we use a Digital Hand Dynamometer for accuracy. Once the grip position is adjusted, the client holds the handle and squeezes the handle (real good), based on the numbers displayed on the LED screen, we use the following table to determine the hand grip strength related to age, gender, and strengths (weak, normal, or strong).

If the numbers found on the Hand Dynamometer are weak we design and perform therapy to bring your grip to normal. The ultimate goal of our holistic therapy is to restore your whole body from weak to normal to strong.
